Do you want to lose weight? Do you want to live a healthier life? How much do you want to lose weight? What are you going to do for it? Have you tried to lose weight more? What is the reason you want to lose weight and live a healthier life?
Your body is your temple and you have to take good care of it. It is your house where you live, and it must last a long time. Life is beautiful and it would be a shame if you would reduce the quality of life because you are not feeling well and/or are unhealthy.
Losing weight is a hot talk nowadays. You may also be ‘on a diet’. But can a diet be sustained? Changing a habit takes on average 21 days. My experience says no! Fortunately, it can be done differently. I want to inspire you below with my story and experiences about losing weight in the places where I wanted this. I hope to help you with tips that worked for me and also give good results. Because it is also possible for you to be able to enjoy healthy food that suits your body.
Eating healthy while losing weight
What I found myself with the various diets that I tried myself was the fact that I was not allowed to eat what I wanted. As a result, I looked forward to the next meal, preparing it and especially working it in. You understand that this did not promote motivation. I also walked around all day with a lot of hunger. And by this, I do not mean ‘the tasty appetite’, but really hungry for nutritious food.
Many diets are based on losing weight as quickly as possible by means of far too little food. Your body goes ‘in energy saving mode’ with the result that all bits of food that come in are ultimately stored as fat. And after stopping the diet, this, unfortunately, does not change, so that you arrive again.
What works
This way of losing weight didn’t work for me. I thought “that there should be something different”. Because how can it be that one diet program is suitable for everyone? Are we all different? With much knowledge that I now have in-house, I also understand why a diet program does not work for me and many others. I am convinced that if you want to lose weight in a healthy and sustainable way, you need to learn a diet that suits you.
I am not a fan of diets, because the diet does not exist. I’m going to give tips, motivation and inspiration to live healthier and of course, help you lose a few pounds. Here are some vital tips that I tried to myself and found it beneficial.
1. Drink more water
I also catch myself drinking sometimes too little water and you can tell by the color of your urine. The dark color of urine may mean that you have not drunk well enough. Other symptoms for not drinking enough water may be; dry mouth, headache, and little urination.
2. Avoid sugar consumption
Sugar is ‘poison’ for your body and sugar is also an addiction. Once you are used to eating less sugar, you will not ‘crave’ more. Sugar causes a fluctuating blood sugar level. Think of white bread, cookies, sweets, cakes, etc. Sugar also ensures that you want more and more sugar. Break this negative spiral.
If you find it very difficult, you don’t have to ban everything at once. Allow yourself one bonbon after dinner. You can only do this if you have enough discipline and do not eat the whole box.
3. Breath in fresh air
Are you breathing well? Breathing is very important for oxygen in our body. Many people underestimate the power of oxygen in their bodies. Take a few times to breathe very consciously in the fresh air. More oxygen in your body also provides more energy.
4. Eat small meals
You really don’t have to wait until you can have lunch again. If you do that, you are much more likely to eat more because you are hungry. Take a few small meals throughout the day so that you don’t feel hungry.
5. Drink vegetable/fruit smoothies
I really like smoothies. It is the fastest way to get fruit/vegetables, foods and vitamins. You can make a fruit smoothie by putting some different types of fruit in a blender, possibly with milk/yogurt, oatmeal and shaking. Delicious! Check out Patriot Power Greens Review to find more information on this amazing green drink powder.
6. Take treats with healthy people
People who give you energy. Eat with people who find it important to have a healthy lifestyle so you immediately have a “buddy” with it.
7. Take good care of your teeth
Good body care also includes your teeth. A tip can be if you feel good appetite coming to brush your teeth.
8. Spend some fun time outside
Do what you like. Make it a habit to do something fun at least once a week. The key is: ENJOY. Often you are trapped in a job from 9 to 5. within addition the shopping, the household, etc. Go out and change the environment.
9. Stop drinking soda
Soft drinks contain a lot of sugar. Do not replace it with orange juice because this also contains sugar. One glass of freshly squeezed fruit juice will be a good addition to your vitamins. If you really do not like water, you can, for example, use lemonade and dilute it more and more with water so that you get used to drinking water.
10. Focus on fitness
Unfortunately, you cannot escape this. You don’t have to spend hours in the gym. Take a nice walk of half an hour every day. Choose something that you like because it should not be torture for you but something that you enjoy.
11. Ensure adequate sleep
On my daily checklist, there are 8 hours of sleep every night for a month. No more but no less. This means that every day I have to consciously think about what time I go to bed. If you do not get enough sleep, you can see this as “feeling hungry” and you will eat more.
12. Make a clear end goal
How many pounds do you want to lose? What is the reason for losing weight? How will you feel then? What do you look like? Write everything down as specifically as possible. Clear goals are needed to get ahead.
13. Don’t worry what others think of you
Consider what you want. Of course, you can listen to the opinions of others, but don’t let their opinions influence yours. Go for what you want!
14. Do not weight yourself constantly
The most important thing is to listen to yourself. How do you feel? What are your clothes like? If you are constantly on the scales and it does not give the required result in numbers, then you will become demotivated while something will probably happen to your body.
15. Discard your larger size clothing
This is an incentive not to go back to your old weight. You plan not to wear it anymore, do you? This provides an extra incentive because there is no way back.
I hope you found these tips, that I tried myself, useful for you. I know it is not easy to follow any tip or remedy. But when you set a goal in your mind, any task gets interesting and achievable.
