Here are even more tips and tricks to combating dark circles under eyes for men today.

Intoxicating Your Mind and Body

Intoxicating Your Mind and Body Is Unhealthy for You Inside and Out

There’s a reason that drinking alcohol is commonly referred to as intoxicating to one self.

The list of negative effects alcohol has on our bodies is plenty.

To start off with, let’s consider what alcohol does to our skin and appearance in general.

When you drink alcohol, it immediately starts working to replace the oxygen inside your blood.

This is not something that is going to benefit your dark circles and here’s why.

The skin right beneath your eyes is incredibly delicate and thin.

In fact, no where on your body is your skin thinner than right around your eyes!

The reason that’s important is because of how much more visible your veins and blood are underneath your eyes than anywhere else on your body.

As alcohol works to deoxygenate your blood, your blood becomes darker in color.

The results of this darker blood is most visible right beneath your eyes!

That’s why you’ll often times see people with really bad dark circles under their eyes after they have had a drink of alcohol.

It’s not something that does your dark under eye circles any favours by a long shot.

Another really bad habit you should stay clear of is smoking.

Smoking restricts blood flow inside your body and causes your dark circles to look much worse.

Smoking even introduces a whole host of nasty undesirable toxins and chemicals into your body and blood stream.

Those toxins have a real bad effect on how your skin looks and feels.

By choosing not to intoxicate your mind or body with alcohol or smoke, you free yourself from one of the most impactful factors causing dark circles under eyes.

Proper Nutrition

Proper Nutrition (And Hydration) Are Critical

How many times have you eaten an unhealthy meal only to feel the same afterwards?

If you’ve noticed a pattern between what you consume and how it makes you feel, then this will make much more sense to you.

The truth is just like avoiding certain toxic substances is good for us so is seeking healthy substances.

We all know that over half of our body is made up of water, but how many of us actually act on that knowledge?

By ensuring we drink enough water each day we can better help our body to keep us feeling and looking our best.

A general rule of thumb is to aim to drink eight 8-ounce cups of water daily (this is simply known as the 8 x 8 rule).

Doing so will keep us hydrated and aid our bodies in flushing out unwanted toxins from our system and even from underneath our skin.

This may be just what you need to clear out and fade away your pesky dark circles under your eyes.

When it comes to what’s happening inside our bodies, our diets directly impact our wellbeing and health.

The truth is eating unhealthy is unsustainable and it’s going to show.

There’s a reason that people that eat junk food have such bad skin.

Proper nutrition and hydration have a direct impact on both the way we look and feel.

If clean and clear skin is something you desire, then consuming a clean diet is how you get there.

Let’s consider the food pyramid for a moment.

If you look at it you can clearly see vegetables and fruits right at the base of the pyramid and for good reason!

The bulk of our diets should consist of these wonderful earth-grown gifts.

Vegetables and fruits do absolute wonders for our health and bodies.

Have you ever wondered why people that consume leafy greens and fruits seem to have such amazing skin?

Have you ever wondered why they seem to have such a limitless supply of energy?

All this time, the truth was staring you in the face.

If you eat more vegetables and fruits and aim to incorporate them into a large portion of your diet, you will have a much better chance at fighting off those pesky dark circles underneath your eyes.

The benefits of regularly consuming vegetables are many.

Let’s start off with the fact that they are chock full of key vitamins.

Vitamin A keeps eyes and skin healthy and helps to protect against infections.

Vitamin C helps heal cuts and wounds and keeps teeth and gums healthy.

Vitamin C also aids in iron absorption.

Vitamin K is found in leafy greens and aids in ensuring our bloodstream circulates efficiently.

This is critical for ensuring we don’t get sick or develop infections.

All of these vitamins can be found in vegetables that are readily available to us at the store.

Incorporating them into our meals is something that not only tastes good, but also is good for your health and wellbeing.

Fruits are another powerhouse staple of healthy living.

Several critical vitamins (and minerals) can be found in everyday fruits.

In addition, fruits contain phytochemicals which help to promote optimal health.

One of the greatest vitamins available to us in fruits is Vitamin C which protects us against the harmful effects of free radicals.

Free radicals are capable of breaking down cells inside our bodies.

This is especially concerning when it comes to the health of our skin as they can break down the skin’s collagen and create wrinkles.

Thankfully, by consuming fruits full of vitamin C, we can help to combat the negative effects of free radicals inside our bodies.

Bathtub

Meditation Can Take Place in Your Bathtub (Seriously)

When’s the last time you sat down and just did nothing.

I mean really did nothing.

Sometimes in life when we’re moving 100 miles per hour, we forget to stop and rest.

Rest is extremely important for our health and wellbeing.

Rest is something that we all need more of but seem to schedule very little of in our lives.

It doesn’t take much energy to rest.

All you need is a quiet relaxing environment to sit down and be mindful of the present.

It can take place on a park bench, in your backyard, or even in your own bathtub!

Yes, you read that correctly (your own bathtub).

Honestly, the bathtub is an absolutely amazing place to sit down, relax, and unwind for the day.

Where else can you be alone in seclusion while also submerging yourself in warm soothing water?

Where else can you relax undisturbed with minimal distractions?

Seriously, the bathtub is one of my all-time favorite places to unwind and relax and one that I encourage everyone to visit frequently.

It’s in this incredible setting that you can turn off the distractions and stressors that have contributed to your terrible dark circles under eyes.

It’s in this setting that you can really unwind and allow yourself the relaxation and comfort you deserve.

One of the reasons meditating and relaxing inside your bathtub is such a good idea is because of what it can do not only for your health, but also for your dark circles.

You see warm water inside your bathtub serves to boost healthy blood circulation.

The name of the game when it comes to keeping fit and healthy is to find ways that can naturally boost your blood flow.

Taking a warm bath regularly is one of those ways!

It’s incredible how much good sitting inside your bathtub can do for you.

Take the time out of your busy hectic schedule each day to relax inside a warm bathtub and notice how it benefits your health and skin.

The benefits of taking a warm bath daily are numerous.

For starters, it boosts your mood and diminishes feelings of sorrow or depression.

Best of all, those happy feelings stay with you post-bath.

If you’re suffering from muscle aches, a warm bath may just be what you need.

Warm baths help to ease the pain and discomfort felt from sore or aching muscles.

Regular warm baths can even help reduce blood pressure which obviously benefits your heart.

In its own sort of way, taking a warm bath can serve as a mini post workout because of the sweat you break and calories you burn.

In fact, submerging yourself inside a warm bath may even burn as many calories as taking a walk!

All of this combined with the feelings of security, comfort, and isolation can help you to address the dark circles underneath your eyes.

Over time, you may notice that your dark circles begin to fade and, hopefully, disappear all together.

All it takes is a warm bath each day to help you on your journey towards a more youthful and energetic version of yourself.
